Did you know?
Swiss walking trails are well signposted to help you along the way. The distinctive yellow signs show routes that are suitable for all and often give information about approximate walking times as well as distance. They also point the way to cables cars and mountain railways, handy for tired legs. A red and white sign indicates a slightly more taxing route, while blue signs are for challenging alpine hikes. In winter, walkers follow pink signs which indicate paths suitable during the snowy months.
Whichever trail you decide to explore, there's sure to be some lovely scenery to enjoy.
