Day 1 - Arrive in elegant Montreux for a 3 night stay

Fly from your local airport to Geneva in under 2 hours with connecting rail travel to Montreux.

Day 2 - Visit the snowy mountains for stunning views and enjoy Montreux

On the cog railway to Les Rochers-De-Naye at 2,045m, your journey reveals a spectacular vista to the snowy Alps which overlook Lake Geneva. Time for refreshments before heading back down to Montreux and maybe a visit to romantic Chillon Castle.

Day 3 - A day to savour with your journey on the GoldenPass Express

Your GoldenPass Express journey starts off with a stunning ascent as you head for a winter wonderland of high meadows and dramatic mountain views. Passing through the chic village of Gstaad you then descend through the snowy Simmen valley to Spiez and enjoy the final run alongside Lake Thun to Interlaken for your 2 night stay.

Day 4 - Interlaken and a day to visit the James Bond mountaintop Piz Gloria on the summit of the Schilthorn

Interlaken is a great base for visiting the awesome Schilthorn mountain. Your visit starts by train to Lauterbrunnen and a dramatic ascent on the world’s steepest cableway to Mürren. Another cable car brings you to the Schilthorn summit with its Piz Gloria revolving restaurant and viewing platform at 2,970m. Day 5 - Luzern-Interlaken Express to the beauty of Lake Lucerne and its Old Town for 3 nights

This relaxing journey on the Luzern-Interlaken Express is 2 hours of fabulous views as you travel over the Brünig Pass to Lucerne. Spend the afternoon soaking up the atmosphere of the wonderful Old Town and the famous Chapel Bridge.

Day 6-7 - Discover a lakes and mountains winter wonderland

Over the next two days you can explore some of the most beautiful sights in Switzerland. Relax on a winter Lake Lucerne cruise to a delightful waterside town such as Weggis or Brunnen or try the full return cruise (around 6 hours). Enjoy soaring meadows and views to the beautiful snow covered mountains, all while you glide through the historical heart of Switzerland. The cruise is covered by your Swiss Travel Pass (lunch on board payable locally). Mount Rigi is also included with your Pass and you have a choice of routes by lake, train and cable car. Known as the Queen of the Mountains, the Rigi summit is renowned for its panoramic views and prepared winter walking trails, with many places to stop for refreshments.

Day 8 - Last day to savour the joys of Lucerne

Time for souvenir shopping before your return to Geneva airport.
