A Guide To Your Holiday Price

Two and multi centre holidays also include travel between all resorts - with reservation fee where applicable - on scenic trains. Relevant extras may be offered at the time of our quotation or you can ask if you have a specific request. Examples include upgraded rooms, half board meals, additional nights and 1st class rail travel.

When you make your booking you must pay a deposit of £150 per person if your holiday is with Swiss International Air Lines. A minimum £250 deposit per person applies if your holiday includes any of the following: flights with any other airline, rail travel from the UK, Glacier Express 1st or 2nd Class or GoldenPass Express Prestige Class. A minimum deposit of £600 per person will be required for holidays including the Glacier Express Excellence Class. The balance of the price of your travel arrangements must be paid at least 10 weeks before your departure date.

Once you pay your deposit and your holiday is confirmed, your holiday price is fully guaranteed and will not be increased in any circumstances. We are fully bonded with the Civil Aviation Authority (ATOL licence 3148) for all air holidays and with ABTA (W6262) for all other arrangements. You are therefore guaranteed complete financial protection of all monies paid. 

Please ensure that you have arranged cover which is appropriate to your requirements as soon as your holiday is confirmed, in case you should fall ill at any point between booking and the travel date. The cover should also be enough to cover assistance - including repatriation - when abroad. Please see ABTA for advice.

For rail holidays from the UK in particular you will need adequate insurance. Rail strikes in France, Belgium and Germany are infrequent but railways are not covered by the same rules as airlines and there is no obligation on the railways to cover additional expenses caused by strike action. It is therefore essential that you have travel insurance to cover the costs of delayed or cancelled trains.
