There is so much to see in this beautiful region. There is a great transport network to help you explore the attractions of the lakeside towns or you can take a trip on the mountain railways to experience fantastic views over the water and high Alps. Lake cruises are a must - you can even visit France for the day. Historical Chateau de Chillon, the UNESCO World Heritage vineyards at Lavaux, Chaplin's World Museum and mountain views from Les-Rochers-de-Naye are all recommended. Enjoy a fantastic two or multi centre holiday, with a scenic rail journey connecting your resorts. We highly recommend the GoldenPass Express which travels through the region and joins up with the Luzern-Interlaken Express to take you all the way to Lucerne. There are also connections via Brig to the famous Glacier Express.

There are some very picturesque walks to be enjoyed in the region. You can take leisurely strolls along the lakeside promenade and it is also a joy to wander in the extensive lakeside vineyards, maybe stopping off in a wine village for lunch. Take one of the funiculars to scenic areas such as Les Pléiades or Mont-Pèlerin with their quaint villages and lake views. Les Rochers-de-Naye offers a whole day out with choice of fabulous walks and panoramic views. Around Villars you will find delightful walks in the mountain pastures and villages and 250km of walking trails at Les Diablerets.
