A magnificent view awaits you on the line which carries you from Vevey to Blonay and then on to the summit of the Pléiades at 1,348m. altitude. Each season is an event in itself. From the window of the train, discover multi dimensional landscapes, such as Lake Geneva, the fields of narcissi in flower and in winter, the glistening snow covered slopes.

Nordic walking is an outdoor sport that is becoming increasingly popular. It is an excellent way to combat stress, improve your cardiovascular fitness and tone your muscles, not to mention being great training for cross-country skiing. Equipment is available for hire from Blonay railway station.

The mountain railway to Les Pléiades departs from Vevey and can be easily reached from Montreux, La Tour-de-Peilz and Lausanne by train.
Direct trains depart Vevey every hour and takes approximately 40 minutes.
