Chur, recognised as Switzerland’s oldest town, features an appealing Old Town and serves as an excellent base for exploring the surrounding region. Sit back and relax in your reserved seat on this leisurely 4 hour Glacier Express winter experience to Brig. You will be served a 3 course set lunch while travelling alongside the Rhine and through the Grand Canyon of Switzerland before making your way up to the winter wonderland of the highest point of the journey - the Oberalp Pass. Travel down to Brig where you change train for your journey along the Rhone valley to Montreux.

Montreux is a fascinating town, with cafés and a wonderful promenade which you can follow to the romantic Chillon Castle.
