Day 1 - Travel to Interlaken, your base for exploring the mountains and lakes

Arrive in Switzerland by air or rail from London with onward travel to Interlaken.

Day 2-7 - Plan your days to include four top spectacular trips included in your holiday

Interlaken has an unrivalled position with two glorious lakes and a host of mountain summits close at hand. We have included visits to 4 of the very best!

Jungfraujoch Top-of-Europe is a sensational journey including the Eiger Express and takes you to the highest railway station in Europe, standing at an amazing 3,454m. A visit to the Jungfraujoch is an unforgettable experience in a high-alpine wonderland of eternal ice and snow and a true highlight of a visit in Switzerland.

Brienzer Rothorn Railway is a wonderful day with your journey to Brienz by lake boat or rail to connect with this famous steam train. The cog railway - with stunning views over the lake - has been chugging its way to the Rothorn summit at 2,350m since 1892. Operates daily early June to mid-October.

A return trip on the Luzern–Interlaken Express makes for a memorable day out. Enjoy a scenic two hour journey each way in panoramic coaches with a buffet car, travelling past crystal-clear lakes and over the Brünig Pass to Lucerne. There, you can spend time exploring the Old Town before taking the relaxing return train to Interlaken.

The journey to the Schilthorn includes the steepest cable car in the world and leads to the dramatic revolving Piz-Gloria restaurant and the most amazing panoramic views of the Jungfrau region. Made famous by James Bond, there is an exhibition dedicated to the film with a ‘Touristorama’ showing you extracts of the movie.

Free days
On your two free days there are many additional visits you could take including a visit to the fabulous Swiss capital Bern and exploring Lakes Thun by boat, both free with your Swiss Travel Pass. Schynige Platte and many other mountain excursions are available at 50% reduction.

Day 8 - After your memorable visit, time to travel home

Take the train down the mountain for your return journey to the UK by air or rail.
