Excellent Swiss organisation

With such a long tradition of offering ski holidays, the Swiss infrastructure runs like clockwork. There is a carefully designed network of trains, ski buses, cable cars and chairlifts so that you can make the most of the slopes that surround each resort. There are well maintained mountain restaurants close to the cable car stations and often smaller mountain huts along pistes and trails. Major resorts have excellent snowmaking equipment should it be needed to keep you skiing all week long.
