Waldhotel National, Arosa
Why this hotel? Excellent cuisine, wellness facilities and views

Open January-April and June-October 2024

The outstanding Waldhotel Arosa stands at 1,800m above sea level in this scenic resort. It benefits from being situated in a quiet spot at the start of summer hiking paths yet is within a 5 minute walk of the town centre and close to the Weisshorn cable car station. The hotel comprises the traditional Waldhotel and the modern Chesa Silva building, so you can choose which style of bedroom suits you. The Thomas Mann restaurant offers half board guests a fine dinner and is the venue for the sumptuous buffet breakfast which will prepare you for your day in the mountains. During the winter months, the à la carte Kachelofa-Stübli has a cosy ambience and boasts 16 Gault & Millau points with culinary delights including regional specialities as well as a menu 'dégustation'. On Fridays, you can enjoy an excellent Châteaubriand (small surcharge for half board guests). The extensive wine list draws from a wide variety of regions. In the evenings, the cosy bar is an excellent place to meet and chat over your day in the Alps and guests can also relax in the Alpin lounge with its welcoming open fire. There is an attractive terrace where drinks and refreshments are served and a garden.

A particular highlight of the hotel is its large wellness centre which boasts a swimming pool, relaxation area, a range of 7 different sauna experiences, steam rooms and even a herbal sanarium. You can also treat yourself with the massage and beauty therapies on offer (charges apply).

The Waldhotel team are ready to welcome you warmly to their superb hotel.
