Your holiday starts on the shores of Lake Lucerne with 4 nights in the attractive village of Weggis, situated below the steep slopes of Mount Rigi, one of the most beautiful mountains to visit for its walks and stunning views. Lake Lucerne is a large picturesque lake dotted with attractive villages which you can visit on a lake cruise and maybe explore the historic 'Swiss Trail' cruising down to Flüelen.
By contrast to the lake your next stay is in the beautiful mountain village of Wengen and travel is planned via Lucerne to Interlaken on the GoldenPass Line.
During your 3 night stay in Wengen we will arrange a visit to the 'Jungfraujoch - Top of Europe' which is celebrating its 100 years 2012. This is a fascinating journey by rail and you will be rewarded by spectacular views and a chance to walk on a glacier as well as visit the Ice Palace.
