Swiss Travel System

The Swiss Travel System is an umbrella organisation that provides visitors to Switzerland with tickets for the entire Swiss public transport system. The Swiss Travel System covers the railways, the post buses and the boats on the lakes and rivers, as well as the buses and trams in the cities.
There are all-in-one tickets for this whole range of travel options. The Swiss Pass is the top offer and it enables you to use the entire Swiss Travel System network for periods ranging from 4 days to one month.  Travel free of charge as detailed below from your arrival airport in Switzerland and back again.   A range of other tickets offer different options to suite your individual requirements. Swiss Pass

The Swiss Pass gives you unlimited travel on Swiss Travel System’s public transport network on either 4, 8, 15 or 22 consecutive days or one entire month. Choose your personal travel route from approximately 20’000 kilometres of train, (postal) bus or boat routes. Your personal choice includes the classic scenic routes, the public transport systems of 38 Swiss cities, and gives you 50% discount on most mountain-top trains and cable cars. To top it off, you will profit from free entries to approx. 450 museums and other interesting discounts.

The Swiss Flexi Pass allows you to freely choose your travelling days. You may travel on the Swiss Travel System network for 3, 4, 5 or 6 non-consecutive days within a month; on the selected days, you are offered the same great possibilities as when travelling with a Swiss Pass (see above). On the days between the first and the last validated day, your Swiss Flexi Pass offers a 50% discount on train, (postal) bus and boat rides, as well as on most mountain-top excursions.

Swiss Card

The Swiss Card covers a round trip from the airport or Swiss border to your destination in Switzerland. In addition on the days between the first and last days validated day, the Swiss Card gives you a 50% reduction on other train, bus and boat rides as well as most mountain railways.
