Situated in a quiet position in its own grounds just above the main street in Davos Platz about ten minutes from the station. An attractive rustic décor is used throughout the hotel which has a large lounge area, with live music each night and an attractive bar complete with log fire. An excellent four course dinner, with a choice of main course, is served in the spacious dining room and breakfast is served as an excellent buffet. Each week there is a gala dinner and if you prefer à la carte there is a carvery serving international dishes and the ‘Buurestube’ which offers traditional Swiss cuisine.
The hotel has excellent leisure facilities with a good size indoor swimming pool, games room and sports shop. There is a separate large Wellness Oasis/Fitness Centre (admission charge) featuring sauna world with four climate areas, including an outdoor Finnish sauna in the garden – just what’s needed after a day in the mountains! There are also massage showers and bath and the Fitness Centre offers a fitness testing service.
Overall the Sunstar Parkhotel Davos is great for sport, relaxation and fun. Your hosts Marietta and Jürg Zürcher are on hand to ensure you have a wonderful stay.
