We start with 3 nights in Pontresina, situated in the Upper Engadin valley, where you can take advantage of 'The Engadin Inclusive Card' which gives you FREE unlimited travel on mountain railways and cable cars as well as local buses and trains for you to fully explore the area. Visit dramatic glaciers or enjoy wonderful panoramic walks with views that will take your breath away.
On the fourth day there is a short transfer to St.Moritz station to join the leisurely Glacier Express train to the high alpine resort of Zermatt including lunch.
Zermatt is surrounded by awesome mountains, the most famous is the Matterhorn, which dominates this traditional alpine village. To help you enjoy your 2 night stay in Zermatt, we have included a visit by cable car to the idyllic mountain lake of Schwarzsee at the foot of the Matterhorn, where you can get the closest view of this impressive mountain.
