8 days to Lucerne and Interlaken with the GoldenPass Line

From the lovely old town of Lucerne to famous Bernese Oberland

''Enjoy historical Lucerne with the 'Chapel Bridge
and take the GoldenPass Line to the
                                   famous Bernese Oberland''

You start your holiday with 4 nights in Lucerne with its lovely old town where you can stroll around and see the 'Chapel Bridge' and a wonderful selection of shops. The beautiful lake with its views up to Mount Rigi, painted in different shades by Turner, makes Lucerne a special place and we have included a visit to Lucerne's other mountain, Pilatus, on the world's steepest cog railway from where you have incredible panoramic views.

On the fifth day travel on the GoldenPass Line over the Brünig Pass to Interlaken.

You have 3 nights in Interlaken to explore the famous Bernese Oberland region with its lakes and high Alps within easy reach. 2012 is a great year to travel on the Jungfrau railways to 'Jungfraujoch - Top of Europe' as they celebrate their 100th birthday and we have included this spectacular visit in your holiday.
