Wonderfully situated with breathtaking views over the lake towards the proud Pilatus mountain, this traditional hotel with all the modern comforts, offers a retreat from the busy city centre which is only 40 minutes’ walk along the lakeside promenade or 10 minutes by regular bus. An excellent buffet breakfast is served in the main See restaurant where the half board four course dinner, with a choice of main course is also served. The Alexander à la carte restaurant is well known in the area.

The hotel’s lakeside gardens and bathing area are just over the road from the hotel, where the Sunset city beach bar makes a wonderful venue during the warm summer evenings. The rooms have been renovated to a high standard and are split between the 'Seeburg 61' building (3 star) and the original Chalet Gardenia (4 star superior). This family run hotel is managed by Thomas Schärer and his team who will be sure to look after you during your stay.
