This delightful Swiss style family run hotel commands a quiet and sunny position close to the centre of Grindelwald. Converted from a smithy the hotel dates back to 1912 and now offers every modern comfort and facility in a tasteful traditional manner.
Your excellent buffet breakfast and five course dinner are served in the Alpterrassen restaurant with views over the Eiger and the delightful hotel gardens. The á la carte choices are the elegant Schmitte, which was the original smithy or the cosy Gaststübli serving Swiss specialty cuisine. There is also an excellent hotel bar and lounge to help you relax and a terrace and large garden. Spa facilities include an indoor pool, sauna, steam room and massages.
