This elegant historic hotel dating back to 1807 is beautifully situated between the old town and the River Reuss with views of the wooden Chapel Bridge and historic water tower. The building dating back to the 13th century has a magnificent façade painted in the style of Swiss artist, Hans Holbein and seen from the old ‘Weinmarket’ is one of the most photographed landmarks in Lucerne.

The tastefully modernised interior boasts an exceptional restaurant  (reservations recommended) awarded 14 Gault Millau points which prides itself on its seasonal market fresh creations and an excellent wine list. The adjoining terrace is a real joy with its wonderful views overlooking the river. The comfortable bar and lounge offers you an ideal spot to relax and enjoy a bit to eat and a refreshing drink.
