This delightful 3 star hotel has a traditional pine interior and is centrally located on the Via Maistra, which is the main road running through the quiet resort of Pontresina. The Bernina is an excellent base from which to explore this beautiful region and with the free use of local transport with the 'Engadin Card' Pontresina is great value.

The hotel prides itself on its excellent cuisine based on fresh produce and local recipes. Your five course evening meal and Swiss buffet breakfast are served in the dining room, in addition there are two popular a la carte restaurants, the Stüvetta and Locanda. There is also a garden and terrace area in which to relax.

A sauna and solarium are also available to hotel guests. The Bernina has a reputation as a friendly hotel run by the Schmid family who are on hand to help you enjoy your stay.
