The Au Lac has a great position at the heart of the lakeside district (Ouchy) and close to the steamer pier for cruises on the lake. The Metro station is situated next to the hotel which connects directly to the railway station, main shopping area and original old town, travel is free with your Lausanne Card.

The traditional hotel with it's Belle Epoque facade has the benefit of lake view rooms which have wonderful views over the lake to the French side and the stunning Alps massif. The hotel 'Le Pirate' restaurant has a street side terrace and specialises in Perch dishes and the attractive first floor terrace overlooking the lake is open in the spring and summer months which can be enjoyed by guests on half board. There is also a bar area.
