This small cosy chalet style hotel is situated at one end of the only main street in Mürren next to the Schilthorn cable car, ten minutes’ walk from the station where the train takes you to the cable car from Grütschalp to Lauterbrunnen. As an alternative you can use the cable car to Mürren, from Stechelberg in the delightful Lauterbrunnen valley, which is linked by the Post Bus to Lauterbrunnen.

The Alpenruh Hotel has a panoramic terrace where you can take advantage of the phenomenal views over the Lauterbrunnen valley and the high Alps. A tempting buffet breakfast awaits you in the rustic restaurant where your excellent four course dinner is also served if you take the half board option.

Other facilities include a small lounge, bar, sauna and solarium. The supplement for a south facing room is well worth the small additional cost. Urs Brotschi is on hand to ensure you enjoy your stay.
