Holidays in Davos/Klosters
Graubünden
Davos Europe’s largest mountain resort offers all the amenities of a small town, while nestling in a landscape of unspoilt natural beauty and mountain splendour. This long and narrow town lies on the floor of a mountain valley and is composed of two linked parts; Davos-Dorf and Davos-Platz with a lively main street offering a variety of shops and restaurants. The mountains tower over Davos on two sides with Pischa, Jakobshorn and Rinerhorn to the south, whilst Schatzalp and Parsenn range to the north. All these mountains offer great opportunities for the summer visitor.
Klosters offers a unique combination of a renowned mountain resort and the idyll of an unspoilt Graubünden village. The diverse range of activities on offer in summer and winter is also well suited to families with children.
Nestling in what has remained the rural part of the Graubünden, Klosters, with its romantic village-like atmosphere, stands in stark contrast to the nearby town of Davos.
Expansive walking area in the Klosters/Davos region with 700 km of trails ranging from footpaths through to demanding mountain hikes. In addition to the nature, rock and forest trails, the energy-encounter trail and a herb garden at Madrisa above Klosters serve to ensure quite special experiences. The Madrisa adventure park with its climbing facilities promises an adrenalin surge.
