Switzerland is renowned for its outstanding wonderful railways, lake cruises and stunning cable cars stretching up to the most improbable mountain heights. However their love of the finest cuisine is not so well known and most hotels are justifiably proud of their use of local and fresh produce to offer quality cuisine.
We have long promoted the prestigious Gault & Millau Swiss Guide which recognises some of the outstanding restaurants around Switzerland. Our hotel descriptions highlight the restaurants which have been recognised by the guide, to help you book a fine dining holiday.
Here we suggest a few ideas which combine some of our Gault & Millau recommended restaurants with Switzerland’s scenic glory.
