The Glacier 3000 is an unforgettable excursion in both summer and winter! The ride on the cable car from Col du Pillon to Scex Rouge is a special experience in itself. When you arrive at an altitude of 3,000 metres, you will be able to enjoy a breathtaking panorama of the Swiss alpine landscape.
Snow Bus: Explore the perpetual ice of the glacier on the Snow Bus, which runs daily in the summer subject to the weather conditions.
Ice Express Chairlift: Ride on the Ice Express chairlift from Scex Rouge down onto the ice - an experience not to be missed.
Alpine Rollercoaster: The highest toboggan run in the world starts beside the Scex Rouge mountain station. The 1km long route has a 520° loop, 10 curves, 6 waves and 3 jumps with speeds of up to 40km per hour. Tobogganers can experience zero gravity, breathe in the clean mountain air and enjoy one-of-a-kind views. May-October, subject to weather conditions.
Husky Ride: A romantic dog sled ride in the unique mountain landscape of Glacier 3000 - huskies pull visitors along through the beautiful glacier landscape.
The Panorama: The viewpoint is just a few minutes' walk from Restaurant Botta. Having reached an altitude of 3000m, there is an indescribable 360º view of the most beautiful alpine peaks - from the Eiger to the Mönch, Jungfrau and the Matterhorn - and twenty-four other 4,000m+ mountains.
Fun Park: This is located in the lower part of the Ice Express chairlift. In the Fun Park, non-skiers, toboggan fans and families can have fun in the snow all year round for free.
Dome Hike: From the Scex Rouge mountain station you follow a nice wide trail surrounded by rocks and boulders up to the Dôme at an altitude of 3,016m. Once you get to the top, you will see the 'Steinmannli' (small stone man) from where you can enjoy breathtaking views of the glacier, the low-lying valleys and the Diablerets summit.
Glacier Walk: A leisurely walk on the marked glacier trail from Scex Rouge to Quille du Diable with a fabulous panorama. Those who prefer a more leisurely pace can take the Ice Express chairlift down to the glacier and start walking from there. After an hour, you will reach the Restaurant Refuge l'Espace at the edge of the glacier, with spectacular views. Walk back to the Scex Rouge or catch the Snow Bus.
Refreshments: The Restaurant Botta offers amazing views to accompany your meal. You have to walk to the Refuge l’Espace (see above), but it is worth the effort to eat in the unspoilt heart of the mountains.
